Looking back over the year, Classroom Secrets has been one of the resources I’ve come back to quite a lot. From what I remember, it usually matched up well with the curriculum I was planning around, especially for maths and English, and it definitely saved me time when I needed something ready to go.
There were a few sheets I didn’t use exactly as they were, and I sometimes changed bits to suit my class better, but that’s normal. Overall, my memory of using it is that it’s reliable, easy to search through, and a good support for planning. I’d give it 4 stars.

I tried grabbing a few resources from classroomsecrets.co.uk, the downloads were just way too slow.

At first I figured it might be my Wi-Fi acting up, but everything else I opened was loading totally fine. A couple of files took ages, and one download even stopped halfway through, which is frustrating when you’re trying to get materials ready for class.

The site seems like it could be useful, no doubt, but the download speed made it feel like more hassle than it was worth for me.

I didn’t realise it was going to renew like that, and the money came out before I even got a chance to cancel. Trying to get it sorted was slow, and the replies didn’t really help much. Maybe that part was on me for missing whatever it was, but it still felt a bit sneaky on the billing side...

I’ve found it has some really good ideas and it definitely saves me time, which is always a plus. That said, the differentiation can be a bit hit and miss. For example, one resource I used still needed quite a bit of tweaking for my lower ability pupils, and I imagine that’s probably the case with a lot of the materials. It’s okay overall, but I wouldn’t expect to use everything straight away without adapting it

I was hoping this would make planning a bit easier, but honestly... it didn’t really save me any time. I still ended up doing most of the work myself.

I used Classroom Secrets for a while and did find it helpful, but cancelling my subscription wasn’t as straightforward as I expected. Some of the wording on the site made it sound like it would be simple, but I ended up clicking around for a bit trying to figure out what I actually needed to do. It felt more confusing than it needed to be. To be fair, it did get sorted in the end, so it wasn’t a huge problem, but I wish the cancellation info had been clearer and less misleading.

At first, I thought the worksheets looked useful, but once my child actually started using them, the questions were not very clear. Some of the wording was confusing, and they kept stopping to ask me what things meant. I ended up explaining most of it myself, which kind of defeats the purpose of buying worksheets in the first place. The layout was fine, but the instructions really need to be simpler. it made me wonder if they focused more on selling the product than making sure it was genuinely easy for kids to use.

I couldn’t really figure out what I was going to end up paying. The prices felt kind of hidden until later on, and that made me not really want to use it again

I’ve been waiting weeks for them to sort out my issue, and it still hasn’t been fixed. At this point, something feels off because I keep expecting an update or some kind of progress, but nothing really changes.

I was expecting the classroom resources to feel a lot more current, especially for the price. A lot of the materials I opened seemed old or like they hadn’t been updated in a while, which made me feel a bit dismissed as a paying customer. It was disappointing because I was hoping for something fresher and more useful.

I tried using the interactive activities with my class, i was disappointed. A few of them were clunky, and some didn’t load properly, which made me nervous because when you’re in the middle of a lesson, you really can’t afford to have tech wasting time or throwing off the plan.
The questions also felt a bit too basic and didn’t really grab the kids’ attention. For a paid site, I expected something more polished and dependable. I probably wouldn’t take the risk of using it again in class

I tried classroomsecrets.co.uk with my Year 3 child because I really wanted something helpful for extra practice at home!! But quite a few of the activities just didn’t feel right for their age.

Some tasks were way too tricky, while others felt really basic and babyish, which ended up confusing my child more than helping. I found myself having to check through everything first instead of just being able to use it easily.
It might be fine for other families, but for us the age levels didn’t feel clear or consistent. I don’t think I’d use it again

For me, the primary coverage just doesn’t feel good enough. I kept looking for the basics I needed and it felt kind of patchy and confusing, like I had to work too hard to figure out what was actually covered. I personally expected it to be a lot more straightforward.

I tried those so-called assessment packs for my class, they were muddled. A bunch of the questions didn’t really fit what I needed, and the answers were way too brief to be useful. Maybe they work for someone, but for me, the whole thing just wasn’t worth the time
